Sự thay đổi trong thiết kế, ngoài linh kiện bên trong còn có nhiều thay đổi và cập nhật. Đầu thu có chức năng biến TV thường thành TV thông minh, kho giải trí đặc sắc, mang đến một cảm giác tốt với giá cả phải chăng. Thông số chi tiết đầu thu X96 Mini+ như thông tin bên dưới:

Dây cáp USB 2 đầu (nếu trường hợp không mua được có thể tham khảo trên internet cách tự làm ở nhà để đấu dây, rất đơn giản)

HƯỚNG DẪN UPDATE PHẦN MỀM TANIX X96 MINI PLUS
Bước 1: Tải firmware theo link bên dưới và giải nén, cài đặt USB Burning Tool đi kèm trong file firmware X96 Mini Plus Mới Nhất
Bước 2: Cài đặt USB Burning Tool đã đi kèm trong file nén X96 Mini+, và chọn ngôn ngữ English, sau đó chọn firmware X96 Mini đã tải về như hình bên dưới
Hình ảnh làm mẫu, nếu cài Firmware X96 Mini Plus nên chọn file *.img của X96 Mini+
Bước 3: Cắm một đầu cab USB vô máy tính, sau đó trên USB Burning Tool nhấn vô file và Import FW X96 Mini Plus đã tải về máy (lưu ý đuôi file .img). Khi load được FW Andoird Box Tanix X96 Mini Plus vào tool và tiến hành theo thứ tự:
Cắm tăm vô lỗ restore trên box (để ý trong box sẽ có 1 lỗ restore rất nhỏ, nằm cùng trong cổng AV đằng sau box), nhớ nhấn giữ không buông tay, lưu ý trong suốt quá trình từ bước 1 đến bước 4 không cắm nguồn đầu box.
Cắm đầu còn lại của cab USB vô cổng USB trên box (cổng để upgrade là cổng USB 2.0 gần với ngõ AV hơn)
Nhấn giữ tay khi nào trên tool xuất hiện thông báo kết nối thành công thì lúc này có thể bỏ tăm ra restore và bắt đầu nhấn START để bắt đầu chạy lại phần mềm X96 Mini Plus
Bước 4: Khi nạp Firmware Android Box mất khoảng từ 1-3 phút (tuỳ thuộc vào cấu hình máy). Nếu hiện thông báo “Success” thì quá trình cài đặt firmware đã thành công, nếu hiện “Fail” thì quá trình upgrade có vấn đề. Hãy thử lại theo các bước như hướng dẫn bên trên. Quá trình upgrade android box thành công thì lúc này có thể rút USB ra và cắm nguồn, khởi động cài đặt lần đầu tiên khi cài lại rom gốc từ nhà sản xuất (cài đặt rom từ nhà sản xuất nên đợi boot hơi lâu bình thường, cứ kiên nhẫn đợi)
LƯU Ý QUAN TRỌNG: Trong quá trình cập nhật phần mềm android box từ nhà sản xuất, luôn luôn đảm bảo nguồn điện ổn định, và không bị mất điện khi đang cập nhật. Việc mất điện khi đang update lại rom gốc từ nhà sản xuất có thể gây ra những thiệt hại nghiêm trọng như: bị brick thiết bị hoặc thiệt hại nặng hơn có thể gây cháy nổ chip, bộ nhớ, ram… gây hư hỏng hoàn toàn thiết bị, khách hàng lưu ý trước khi thực hiện từ máy tính qua đường usb cable.

Trong file nén Phần mềm X96 Mini+ chúng tôi đã nén kèm tool update USB Burning Tool cho việc cập nhật phần mềm X96 Mini Plus trên máy tính.
Bản FW Tanix X96 Mini Plus này chỉ chạy được với Amlogic S905W4, cân nhắc trước khi cập nhật phần mềm X96 Mini+. Người dùng nên thực hiện đúng theo các hướng dẫn từ chúng tôi để giải nén File rom Android Box cũng như cài đặt phần mềm lại cho Android TV Box.
Lưu ý Dong Tran DVB chỉ cung cấp các rom gốc (Stock Rom) từ Nhà sản xuất Tanix, không cung cấp rom đã sửa đổi để thiết bị hoạt động một cách ổn định nhất.
